Empathy is paramount to Peace in the Universe. Treat others how you would LIKE to be treated. Don’t be violent. Don’t hold a grudge. Respect your elders. Don’t pine for what is not rightfully yours. Forgive others. Walk on to claim forgiveness for yourself. Carry on.
Imagine if everyone cared about their neighbours. The world used to be more like that before daily reports of wars and earthquakes everywhere on world news.
People used to let their children knock on all their neighbours’ doors to see if the elderly people were okay and if the young ones could come out to play…
Now it seems that the world has shrunk so much that Egyptians, Norwegians, British, Russians, Italians, Filipinos, Chinese, Americans, Brazilians, Mexicans, Kiwis, and everyone else… all are neighbours!
We all coexist. We should get along!
It’s overwhelming to be honest. A lot of people don’t give a shit about their neighbours, they just think they are #1 and keep trying to shove it down everyone else’s throats…
I’m not saying to always put yourself second, but there is an unpleasant difference when you think you’re better than everyone else, for ANY reason.
Having a good place to live and giving freedom to our neighbors is an ATTITUDE.
Saying pardon, please, thank you, and no worries are institutionalized in an ideal world.
Laws must be ethical, preserving EQUALITY between genders, bloodlines, and skin colors. Protect safety of people bullied, which usually happens to WHISTLEBLOWERS who stand up for righteousness against larger corporations.
Be any religion you wish here. But you hurt women, children, or shed blood for religious reasons, you are breaking the LAWS of protection of animals and humanity.
11“What good to Me is your multitude of sacrifices?”
says the LORD.
“I am full from the burnt offerings of rams
and the fat of well-fed cattle;
I take no delight in the blood of bulls
12When you come to appear before Me,
who has required this of you—
this trampling of My courts?
13Bring your worthless offerings no more;
your incense is detestable to Me.
New Moons, Sabbaths, and convocations—
I cannot endure iniquity in a solemn assembly.
14I hate your New Moons
and your appointed feasts.
They have become a burden to Me;
I am weary of bearing them.
15When you spread out your hands in prayer,
I will hide My eyes from you;
even though you multiply your prayers,
I will not listen.
Your hands are covered with blood.
16Wash and cleanse yourselves.
Remove your evil deeds from My sight.
Stop doing evil!
17Learn to do right;
seek justice and correct the oppressor.
Defend the fatherless
and plead the case of the widow.
19If you are willing and obedient,
you will eat the best of the land.
20But if you resist and rebel,
you will be devoured by the sword.”
For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.
Just be good! How? Study righteous Laws and stick to them.
The first five books of the Hebrew Bible: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy changed my life, understanding opened my eyes!
Ethical laws make the world better for everyone.
Here’s something fascinating that I learned from a Buddhist manual, ‘The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying’:
The idea of transmuting energy from negative to positive creates peace where none existed.
We’ve all heard of mindful meditation, releasing your thoughts, trying to be peaceful while the world around us is chaos…
But to clear your mind…
Inhale pain and suffering from around you…,
Exhale, heal.
Inhale chaos,
Exhale release, peace.
Inhale anger from around you,
Exhale forgiveness and forgetting.
Be the change you wish to see in the world.
Against this there is no law.
You’ll be amazed at how much more peaceful becomes your environment, which rubs off on your mentality.
This works anywhere, not just Tibet.
Freedom in the Universe comes from accepting the uniqueness of others.
Every person in the world looks at the world from their own location, each through their own senses. Not just us, but everyone else, unique is God’s standard. Each life is different like stones, stars, or snowflakes.
Why would ANYONE think the world is better otherwise?
Celebrate others, forgive, and forgive yourself!
Amen.
Wishing you all the best in the world,
Enlillie
