Splintered souls
What remains
Can be found
In spirit realms
More than remnants
I hear them
Broken away
Lost innocence of people
Light or shadows
Unjoined
From who they were part of
What part they lost
Of themselves
When they chose,
Or chose NOT,
To sin or not to sin
That loving part
Was hurt too much
That part of themselves
Self-rejected.
Holding the pain too much
A correction can be
A reminder
Not to dismiss
A bittersweet painful memory
Helping to appreciate
Lessons
Being grateful
For our mistakes
To grow wiser.
Why are we given intuition
That inner barricade;
Or silent encourager
To stop hurting others
Or prompt us to help
Angels whisper
They remind us to help
Some tempt us to hurt
But should we listen to our pauses;
Pit traps, snakes or ladders,
The thoughts to stop
Or go…
Give,
Or keep,
Of ourselves…
Wisely.
There is a Shamanic term called Soul Loss. It happens when trauma is too much to handle, often by the innocent inner child, the part of you that loved and was burned, or when you sold your soul and made the choice to do something against your own conscience… that emotional part of you leaps out of your body and runs away to one of many levels in the spirit world.
