This strong young Jewish entrepreneur and his grandmother in Mbale, Uganda have taken it upon themselves to adopt a total of 20 orphaned children from off the street. Not all of his children are in the above photo.
The first two approached him as he was shopping at the market, asking for money and food, but he sensed a deeper need. “We are out here for food, but we actually need someone to take care of us, as we have no parents to care for us.”
He wasn’t making a lot of money, but all he could do was to share everything he had… his home for shelter, and his family, for love.
Hasakya Isaac started a business selling kippots and challah covers to help support himself, and his dear grandmother. It was just the two of them there on his grandmother’s farm in the Jewish district of Mbale. His parents were still around, just financially strapped themselves.
Education is highly important to this enterprising young entrepreneur. At 25 years old he is still a student himself, to learn how to be a better businessman. He wants his children to all have a full education, so they can learn how to become excellent leaders for a better Uganda.
